This is my newest collection, Streets and Lived Experiences.

In September and December of 2025, I travelled to Portugal, India and the UK. And that is when this collection started taking shape in my mind.

Imagine landing in a new place. You find a local café or restaurant, order something, and the food amazes you — a good introduction to the city. The next day you roam around, walk through local neighbourhoods, wander into a couple of shops — maybe a florist, a bookshop, a clothing brand, an antique store. At some point on the trip you brave the 15,000 steps to reach a view that takes your breath away. Or a kid in your group tugs at your sleeve to take them to a local fairground, and before you know it you're riding all the rides with them, feeling like a child again. To me, when we travel, we hit these milestones and moments — a meal, a shop, a view, a fairground — and they quietly become the memories of a place. Suddenly, somewhere becomes extra special. I have painted such moments for this collection.
